The book of Acts tells the story of the spread of the Christian church.  In fact, the New Testament can be seen as an anthology of church planting.  One important principle is constant throughout this important story–churches plant churches.  Paul is sent from Antioch and other churches join the movement of taking the Gospel to the ends of the earth as he and others make disciples and help to gather them into new churches.
