What is the State Missions Offering?
In September and October, BCNM focus on missions and ministries in the state through the State Missions Offering. The offering is vital. It insures that our convention, a fellowship of churches, has resources for mission work all across New Mexico through its churches and associations.
All of the gifts received toward the State Missions Offering are used right here at home!
The chart below describes how the gifts will be allocated.
Allow the convention to say, in advance, thank you for your generosity.
Church Planting – 30% – $172,500
Collegiate Ministries – 10% – $57,500
Hunger Funds – 10% – $57,500
Inlow and Sivells Camps (improvements) – 20% – $115,000
NM Disaster Relief – 10% – $57,500
Evangelism – 20% – $115,000
Give to the State Missions Offering.
Before you promote and pray, please understand that this is more than a fundraising campaign. It is a plea to Baptist churches to proclaim the gospel until every New Mexican hears the good news. So promote giving, but also urge the church to go and share the gospel. “That All May Hear.”

Please pray about the mission work emphasized this year; pray about how you can be involved in missions here at home.
Pray about how God will lead you to give to the State Missions Offering.
Pray that all New Mexicans “May Hear” and come to know Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior!

Promote the State Missions Offering.
Equip your church with resources designed to promote the 2026 State Missions Offering and encourage your congregation to pray, give, and go.
Go on the Mission.
The most exciting part about the Great Commission is participating in it. Believers tell of the excitement and joy they experience when they tell someone about Jesus and they respond with “Yes, I believe!” Your church can tell the Gospel, invite people to follow Jesus and celebrate the results.
Plan an evangelistic event in your neighborhood or city.
Plan a family mission trip to help another church or a church plant in New Mexico with Vacation Bible School or another evangelistic outreach activity.
Sponsor, support or participate in a church plant.
Plan a church mission trip to another state to help church plants reach their cities and neighborhoods for Jesus.
Plan an international church mission trip to work with an International Mission Board missionary from New Mexico in the country where they serve, helping them reach people with the Gospel.
Hold an evangelism training workshop or special training event.
