2019 Sunday School Training

We will provide great training for leaders of groups of all ages! Join us for this exciting event as we develop leaders who build up churches!

Value for Adult Leaders:
As leaders of Bible study groups, we carry the responsibility of being a shepherd. To be a good shepherd, we need a system for creating a caring community in our group. We will take a look at guiding our group from the front, from among the flock, and walking behind the flock. We will address what to do before, during, and after our group gathers. We will identify key foundational concepts for shepherding people well. We will also share a few bonus ideas for a great SS!!

Value for Children’s Ministry Leaders:
Teachers and workers who work with children from babies through preteens will benefit from this session. We want to make a difference in children’s and families lives with the gospel of Christ so let’s look at some ways to stay gospel-centered in our teaching. Also, we’ll look at ways to build our abilities to shepherd the kids that have been entrusted to our care. Plus, we’ll see some new ideas for games and activities so you walk away with some practical ideas you can use the next Sunday!

Value for Student Leaders:
The Psalmist declares, “The Lord is great and is highly praised; His greatness unsearchable. One generation will declare Your works to the next and will proclaim Your mighty acts. I will speak of Your splendor and glorious majesty and Your wondrous works.” (Psalm 145:3-5) We have the great privilege and responsibility to pass along, to the next generation, what it means to follow the Lord. To shepherd the next generation is exciting and scary all at the same time, which is why it is crucial for us to be prepared. Whether you are a rookie or a veteran youth worker it is important for us to continually sharpen our skills in order to be better equipped to pass along the mighty acts of the Lord to the next generation.
